Believe it or not, GoSquared is now 14 years old. We’re in a new decade, and we couldn’t be more excited for what comes next in our journey.
What we did last year
In the past year we’ve achieved a lot – we:
- Almost doubled in team size.
- Published 49 blog posts.
- Sent 51 issues of the GoSquared Weekly newsletter.
- Shipped over 20 significant updates to the GoSquared platform.
- Moved to a beautiful new office.
- Ran the marathon and raised almost £3,000 for charity.
While we’ve completed much of what we set out to achieve in the last year, the greatest effort went into something we’re yet to share with you.
One of our biggest updates in all our 14 years of history is just around the corner, and we’re giddy with excitement to share it with you.
14 years in one timeline
We’ve updated our timeline of GoSquared history to reflect the past few years and our top moments.
Half our lives
For us founders, this is a momentous year – half the time we’ve been on Planet Earth has been spent running GoSquared.
Spending half your life running a company might sound crazy to some.
It’s not the usual startup story you hear:
- Come up with genius idea
- Build MVP
- Raise $$$ in funding
- ???
- Sell to Facegoogazonsoft
- Retire on a beach
The longer we’ve been doing this, the more we’ve realised we’re in no rush to stop. We are learning more than ever, and our ambitions are growing with every month that passes.
We don’t run GoSquared as a game.
We don’t run GoSquared with a desire to sell out and make a quick buck.
We run GoSquared because we’re driven to build the best software in the world.
And to do that means building a great company.
We’re building the company we’ve always wanted to work at.
And we’ve got a lot of work ahead of us that we can’t wait to share with you.
Thank you
We would like to say a huge thank you to our amazing customers, our dedicated and incredibly hard-working team, and to all the friends and family who have been with us building GoSquared to date.
We can’t wait to show you what we’ve been working on.
